1/27/2024 0 Comments Houdini ride six flags![]() He also pulled it out for a moment on our third ride, with Kaylee saying something that time. I yelled at him to put his phone away and he did seconds later, although I did get a dirty look back in my direction. The first time happened on our first ride, approaching the turn around by the lake. Worse than that, one kid pulled out his phone two different times during these three rides. I’m all for kids being kids and having fun, but some of the stuff being said was highly inappropriate. We managed three more amazing night rides, with the only downside being the stupid teenagers sitting all around us. Luckily for us, we had about 15 minutes left when we worked our way back that way again. I wanted more rides on my favorite B&M hyper coaster and hoped we’d be able to make it happen before the park closed. Nighthawk at Carowinds, although beautiful to look at, has always been my least favorite large-scale flying coaster.ĭuring our initial trek through the park, we rode once Nitro and then moved on. I also enjoyed the two rides I got on Firehawk at Kings Island in the past. Now I’m debating internally if I like Batwing better than these Superman clones. As with B&M, their version is more graceful. Recently, however, I’ve gotten to ride Batwing at SFA more than usual and I started to notice that the ride itself is more intense, with a bit more “attitude,” if you will. I always said I preferred these to the Vekoma Flying Dutchman models due to their comfort and train configuration. I’ve ridden two of these with the other being at Six Flags Over Georiga (SFOG). It did eventually re-open, but during its downtime, we hit up the two coasters and Twister.Īs I’ve come to expect, I had a nice smooth rides on this Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) Superman: Ultimate Flight clone. The only ride we were looking to do over that way was Houdini’s Great Escape, but it ended up being down when we walked over. Had Jersey Devil Coaster been running Saturday, I don’t think we would have walked over to Superman: Ultimate Flight, Green Lantern, or Twister. Last week it was Sesame Place and this week, Dorney Park. The best thing about both those visits was the fact that neither were planned and both came after visits to different parks in Pennsylvania. And with that, I was headed back to SFGAdv for the second time in six days. Nevertheless, both liked the idea since they had some coaster credits yet to experience at the park. I asked the two of them what they thought.īernard laughed saying he was just at SFGAdv on Thursday as park of a jump team from Six Flags America (SFA), where both he and Kaylee work. We were a little over an hour away and I knew we’d have plenty of time to catch some rides. After tossing around a few ideas, I looked online and saw that Six Flags Great Adventure (SFGAdv) was open until 9 p.m. We had driven 2.5 hours up to Dorney and weren’t ready to call it quits. on Saturday, Kaylee, Bernard, and I sat down to eat a quick lunch and figure out what we wanted to do for the rest of the day.
